Local <strong>airport was named \u201cFluxus\u201d<\/strong> last spring and it will hold that name until the end of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The appointment was at Ma\u010di\u016bnas Square<\/strong> at 7pm on September 10th. <strong>Two stages housed the shows prepared by the different districts<\/strong> of the city: music and performances to celebrate the artistic movement <strong>whose founder was George Ma\u010di\u016bnas<\/strong>, Jurgis Ma\u010di\u016bnas his name at the birth, <strong>who was born in Kaunas<\/strong> and he fled to the US after World War II.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Every person, every neighborhood was invited to participate<\/strong>. Everybody can produce art, in every moment of their life. A well-known performance, for example, was <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.talkclassical.com\/threads\/compositions-in-which-pianos-are-destroyed.34119\/page-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the destruction of a piano<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Definitely <strong>it was an avant-garde movement against the elite of art<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fluxus is also based on <strong>a strong sense of humor and provocation<\/strong>, and it was surely a movement of breaking-up in those years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Many artists were interested in that new art form<\/strong>, and many of them had relationships with Ma\u010di\u016bnas.
