Vilnius Light Festival 2023<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Philippe is a French artist living in Lion<\/strong>. He made that work three years ago at the anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution. His installation consists in <strong>huge circular panel with 960 torch lamps collected in Leipzig<\/strong> or in the second-hand markets in all Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Every torch lamp represents the citizens<\/strong> of the German city. \u201c\u2026When I started to collect those torch lamps, I was really impressed by the variety of design and different shape that they had. <strong>It made me think to people<\/strong>, that&#8217;s why we call the installation \u00abMenschen\u00bb, humanity\u201d, said Philippe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;&#8230;I can see that t<strong>he audience is really caught by the installation<\/strong>. It creates a peaceful atmosphere and people are standing alone in this situation.
