L’associazione Lapteviečiai svolge l’importante compito di trasmettere la memoria di quanto accaduto in Lituania durante l’occupazione Sovietica. Un regime che ha oppresso la Lituania fino al 1990, quando finalmente il Paese, primo tra i Paesi Baltici, conquistò la sua indipendenza.
