In the same day of the celebration of the Baltic Way, the human chain 600 km long created by the Baltics in 1989 to protest against the Soviet Occupation, Lithuanians all over the world, together with Belarusians who have been living abroad, have planned many events to support the peaceful fight in Belarus

In Lithuania, a big human chain connected Vilnius to Medininkai, a small village close to the Belarusian border; in Rome, before the Belarus Embassy; in Milan, near the Duomo square. Other tens events took place in many towns and villages in Lithuania, and in other parts of the world. We were in Milan. Small gestures, we know, but they’re important to stay close to people in Belarus. They’re asking only free election and democracy.
